Would be cool to see people sharing any cheap cases from places like AliExpress that they’re happy with/unhappy with

With a lot of cases coming out of the same factories, I’m sure some of you have found some great deals… just can’t justify how expensive some of these name brand cases are getting these days.

im not interested in buying anything through AliExpress from sketchy companies that provide no reliable testing or even marketing info about the features of their cases.
 
I can tell you about cheap cases from Aliexpress, because I just so happen to have made the jump myself...

I bought this transparent case from Aliexpress for $2.28 (It had Free shipping if my cart had over $10 of purchases. I had other stuff, so I paid nothing for shipping)... That's pretty cheap.

I was so proud of myself, not getting ripped off like the rest of us.
So much, that I convinced my siblings to all want in the savings. I even got one for my wife too.
Then came the day of deliveries for all of us.

Here are some pictures (We all left bad reviews, but didn't take pictures. These are other reviewer's pictures that looked exactly like ours)

The only one that didn't arrive all bent up, had the holes completely out of alignment.
The others were so misshaped, that they couldn't hold in the phone anymore.

I ended up, just abandoning the idea and stick to a brand name that I know.

I have been using my iPhone 15 Navy Blue slim case that fits perfectly for the past year. The holes are perfectly aligned.

So, I went ahead and purchased a transparent case for my new iPhone 17 Pro (Still waiting on my iPhone).
I'll put it on the phone once I get it, but from the look of it, this one looks to be a much better quality. Nothing like the Aliexpress ones.

I bought the ultra thin one for my wife this week-end, but apparently they are in back order. They said they'll start shipping mid november. But they offered me a 20% refund to wait instead of canceling. So, I'll wait a little, because I don't have my iPhone yet anyways.

I've had this case for like 4 years, and it's still look good. I dropped that phone so many times, but when I remove it to clean it every once in a while, the phone looks like new.

I'm not saying the cheap cases are all bad, but from my personal experience, I haven't been lucky so far. I have to admit that a brand name gives you a much different level of quality that is far superior.

If someone found a good cheap case that is not a disappointment, please share the link. I would love to try.

I’m currently taking a swing on some YMW leather cases. They should be here some time next week. I’ve heard many amazing things about them so kind of stoked to see what the hype is about.

They just came in and they looks amazing, The only thing is the buttons are all like a light gray not black, since theyre leather they smell great too. I'm impressed.
