That's very fair. You may get more if you sell the SSD separately. I'd say it's worth about $2000 as a package, depending on condition.

If the SSD....

is the factory-installed by Apple, I can say $1700-1850 is a good asking price. No cosmetic or functional issues and AppleCare can help the price. Still, you can put the 1 TB drive in there and sold the SSD apart. That scenario can put you in the $2000-2150 range,IMHO, if you play well the cards.....

why are u selling

thats a great laptop, and they do not make the 17" any longer. What are you going to get instead. If I owned a 17" now id prob hold on to it for as long as it was still functional.

It is pretty big - need portability - going rMBP.
