17" iMac for $900 Cdn. - Worth it?

With the new iMacs that are coming out it seems that stores are dropping the price for their older models.

There is an office store that is selling an 17" iMac 2.0 Ghz for $900.

For those who own a 17" iMac is it worth the pick up or should I wait for the new ones to come out.

Core 2 - yes
SuperDrive - yes

That's a great deal and I would go for it if it isn't a floor model. I just returned a floor model of the same computer which I got for $867 at Staples because the screen dimmed for no reason a couple of times in the two days I had it. It wasn't going to "sleep". So I'd say go for it if it's in an unopened box!

I called the store and there's no 17" iMac in stock anymore.

But no worries I ended up picking up a nice Macbook instead.
