Ok so I'm thinking about upgrading my white 17" 2.0 ghz CD iMac's hard drive. I believe it's a 3.5" form factor is that correct? I've watched a video on youtube on how to switch it out on a 20" aluminum iMac, does anyone know if it's basically the same process? and does anyone have experience doing this? if so how much trouble is it? (BTW if it's a 3.5" form factor I'm planning on putting a 1.5TB hard drive in there)

I know I could get an external drive for it but I'd like to be able to clone my 320gb MacBook hard drive to my iMac hard drive and currently it doesn't have enough space. This is just basically to keep my iTunes organized on both computers. Right now I've got all my iTunes files on MacBook and well organized, but on my iMac I'm using a NAS and they're completely not organized on there and I recently bought an EyeTV 250+ and find myself running low on space. I usually edit the videos and convert them to iPod format when I get too low but I hate worrying about running out of space.
