Hi folks. I'd like to buy a 17" MacBook Pro in the near future. But i need some information. Is it sufficient for AOE III TWC and The Asian Dynasties? Thanks anyway.

P.S: I'll be glad if you inform me about BootCamp results.

I play AOEIII TWC on my 15" UMBP. I play the native Mac version and it's smooth with all graphics settings set to max except Shader Quality and Shadow Quality. Both of those are set to "High" instead of "Very High". I find that those two are the tipping point--if I set them any higher I notice a jerkiness in the video. I don't play the game in Boot Camp so afraid I can't help you with that part.

I have no issues with AOE III on my 17" UMBP. I run mine via Windows on a Bootcamp partition.

my friend has tried both versions. he likes the windows version better. says that it runs smoother. its on an iMac with similar stats so i dont know if that matters or not, but it should all be relative.

Thanks for replies. I hope that i can play AOE III at full resolution :)
