17" Macbook Pro can't connect to Airport Extreme but PC with Vista can!?!

I was wondering if anyone has a solution to this very annoying problem.

I have a new 17" MBP, everything was working fine until I updated the Airport Extreme firmware from 7.3.2 to 7.4.1. Now, my MBP can't see the network, and the Airport Utility can't see the Airport.

However, my HP pc with Vista can connect with no problems!

I have tried switching the channels on the Airport with no luck.

What is going on?! Any help would be much appreciated!

Have you got Realplayer downloader plug-in installed?

If so, delete it, kill it, burn it.

It caused me hell with my airport network on my MBP.

No I don't have Real Player installed (I thought Real Player died out years ago!).

That is weird. In my experience routers are traditionally the most finicky peripheral. It's like they're moody.

You might need to just start from scratch again. If you're up for that - you will have to do a hard reset of the router.
