I recommend you check out STM bags from STMbags.com

They have great stuff. They don't make mine anymore but the quality is superior.

Hi guys I was wondering what bags or cases you have for your 17" MacBook Pros?

Ive bought the Slappa Ballistix PTAC Matrix sleeve, but I now need a bag to actually put it in so its easier to carry around.

I use a neoprene sleeve something like your Slappa. I tote it around in a North Face Borealis back pack. It's a snug fit but the backpack stretched the little bit it needed to to accommodate the sleeve in short order.

I use a Speck SeeThru hard shell case and when I carry it around, I also put it inside a Incase Neoprene case.

The backpack I use is just a normal backpack.
Jansport or my North Face backpacking bag.

Do you have a link for the Speck SeeThrru hardshell?

I carry my 17" in a booq mamba shift backpack. If you don't tend to carry a lot of books or things with it, I'd highly recommend it (http://www.booqbags.com/us/backpacks/mamba-shift/MSHL-BLR).

It has a very nice dedicated and padded laptop compartment which takes away the necessity of a sleeve for me. Plus, I think its quite stylish :) Its on the expensive side of things though.

I use a neoprene Incase sleeve and just a regular ole backpack with a little extra padding. I used a Targus messenger bag for a few weeks when I first got it but it was entirely inconvenient trying to get into bathroom stalls and other tight places.

I use an axio Urban backpack. Very solid but the zipper is a bit worn.

Just be warned that dust and dirt gets in through the ventilation holes, and that can then cause scratches as the case presses against the outside of the MBP. There have been quite a few reports of this from disappointed people who bought it to protect against scratches and it ended up causing them.

Personally I just slip it into an Incase neoprene sleeve and into whatever bag I'm using that day.
