17" Macbook Pro i5 and 13" Macbook 2008 comparison pics

I've just splashed out an bought the i5 17" macbook pro and thought i'd share a couple of pics showing size comparison with my old trusty macbook core2 duo.

I've resized the browser windows to be the same so people can get an idea of the massive screen real estate that the 17" has

I was considering the hi-res 15 but the physical increase in size of the 17 is marginal compared to what you get in monitor space. PLus you get the 512mb graphics as standard.

The sound out of this bad boy is bloody impressive too.

Plan is to upgrade the ram and hdd (to a ssd) in a year or so when prices have dropped.

same here. too large for me lol. look at how small the keyboard is!

Really nice comparison! I like the huge 1920px res. Must have amazing density since it's the same as my ACD!
