Hi everyone, im new to the forum. I was wondering... i am getting a 17" 2.3ghz quadcore i7 with 8gb of ram, i was wondering if i should go glossy or antiglare, i use Logic ALOT so which would be better? Also, could someone tell me if the 17" MBP would be able to house a 1tb hd? Thanks in advance!

Why don't you use the search feature and find this new thread with over 280 posts? Glossy vs Anti-Glare

If you want to see your screen in non-optimal lighting conditions, get the antiglare.

As a single drive in an Aluminum MBP, it looks like it's a bad idea:

You could remove the DVD drive and put a second hard drive enclosure in its place, so you could have two 500 or even two 750GB drives.

Personally I think the anti glare is the way to go for music production. As is the 17" if you're going to be using the machine away from a second monitor.

I can't answer that; however, I highly suggest you reconsider getting a 17" laptop.

Why reconsider? I have a 15" 2008 MBP now and the screen is too small, the 17" HD screen has a higher resolution and the real estate is better.

^ ok, thank you! i will be travelling with it a lot, and i don't mind about the size, the 17" has the screen real estate i need for logic and NI Massive.
