17" MBP HiDef Screen Bad Motherbd...How much is it worth?

Just received the news that my 2 year old Tit. MBP has a damaged motherboard that needs to be replaced. It was not a liquid accident but rather they seem to think it was dropped. How much is it worth? I would like to sell it and used the funds toward a new one.

I thought about ebay but I have a lot of watchers and its not moving so I'm thinking about pulling the plug before the 12 hour window requirement hits.

before you part it out or sell it, bring it to the apple store and tell them to run a test called "nvidia graphic test", that will determine whether your nvidia chip is faulty or not...

if it is faulty, then your macbook pro will get repair FREE.

what is the behaviour of your computer? does it turn on?
if it turns on but no screen, with solid white LED light, the chance of getting that repair FREE is very high..
