17" MBP latch

I have a MBP that I purchased in August of last year and now the latch on the screen does not work as it is supposed to. If you touch the screen the wrong way it will pop up and it is a pain to get it back latched. Has anybody else had this problem before and I guess I will drop it off at the Genius bar when I am in Knoxville.
