Hi all,

I had my keyboard and battery replaced (entire topcase) a couple months ago from the Apple replacement program. All was well, and they replaced with a brand new battery at the time. The Apple store tech told me that there was a 1 year warranty but I'm not sure if that only covers the keyboard or if it's anything associated with the repair.

Basically whenever I'm on battery, after a random amount of time ( usually not very long) the laptop will turn off completely without any signs and I have to re-start again. Lost a lot of work already this way. I tried resetting the SMC many times but to no avail. Never happens while plugged in, and this was never an issue before the keyboard replacement. Is there anything else I should try? Also, would I be covered under their repair warranty? If it's an internal issue, I'm afraid of a costly repair.

Thanks!
