17" MBP to 30" ACD

Just ordered a 30" ACD, and was going to run it from my 17" MBP as the primary monitor. Can I leave my 17" MBP open and utilize the webcam or no? Just thought I'd ask before I start hunting for a webcam.

Yes, you can. You can even use the 17's monitor as an extended desktop while the 30 is the primary, since you're going to leave it open anyway.
