Should I expect to encounter many issues with the above for gaming purposes? I have COD4 in mind. I would prefer to run Mac native games in lieu of installing XP Pro SP2 via bootcamp.

Thanks in advance for any comments and/or suggestions. ;)

Edit: I'm sorry . . . additional specs.

Well, why would you have issues?
9600M is more than enough to play COD4.

Perhaps, I am being a bit too over cautious. In the past, I have played games on my Windows rigs and have never done so on any of my Mac laptops.

Thank you for your comment.

While it might probably be okay, I wouldn't bet that you'd be able to run it at super high settings with everything pushed up *AND* at 17" native res which is 1900x1200. You probably would get away with lowering the settings/resolution though. Somehow gaming on a Mac isn't as straight forward as on a typical PC.
