Did anyone else get in on $1,800 MBPs that Springboard Media was clearing out today? I picked up two. Not a bad price at all for the machines. 2.6Ghz, 2GB/200GB with the HD screen. They're the previous revision, but it's hard to wrong at that price.

no, he could be right about them being last gen. There was a BTO option to go up to 2.6 Ghz, even on the last generation. Definitely makes more sense that they would sell the older model at that price.
They're new. Some people at FatWallet have said that they've gotten their shipping confirmations already. The salesman I talked to said that mine would ship on Wednesday--I was amongst the last to get in on the deal today, I think.
I was able to get one. Got a shipping confirmation and it will be here on Tuesday. Word has it it is not the LED screen but a great deal anyways.
On apple's refurb store they have a 2.33 ghz 17in MBP for 1900. But no I did not get in on these deals.
Its brand new sealed of the "merom" last generation with 256mb vram nvidia 17" mbp with hi res (non led). Its a pretty good price for being brand new sealed.

I am a little skeptical about the whole craigslist/ebay thing. What do you think I can get for it? Worse case I can always return it, they offer a 14 day return policy. I am really hoping the updates come soon but I doubt it will be this Tuesday.
