17" Powerbook and adding ram

Simple question:

Is one of the ram modules in the powerbook soldered into the Mobo like the ibook? Or are both slots interchangeable like the powermac?

Both the 15 and 17" Powerbooks can go up to 2GB RAM since the lower memory slot isn't soldered on and can be replaced.

Yep they arn't soldered in there so you can get up to 2GBs.
