iPhone 17 Pro Max 17 Pro Clear Cases White In The Middle For A Reason??

My Pro Max is out for delivery today, was due to deliver Friday.

I saw many in store over the weekend scratched up and now I am wondering if Apple knew this was going to be a major issue, and that is why they made their clear cases white in the Mag Safe section? To cover the expected scratches?

Makes me wonder now. Why else would they have such a horrible looking clear case this year?

It's because otherwise the slightly weird alignment of the MagSafe ring and the repositioned Apple logo looks a little bit strange.

Whether it looks worse than the white sticker approach is very much up for debate

I don’t think that’s the reason. I feel like it’s mostly about the logo and MagSafe ring lol. But honestly, I think they know about the scratches and don’t care because they’re marketing the Pro phones as these toolboxes. They will not functionally behave differently if the aluminum gets scuffed if you get what I’m saying.
