iPhone 17 Pro Max 17 Pro Max plateau abrasion on coating

I uses a silver 17 pro max caseless and begin to noticed some shiny spots on on the plateau itself under different lighting conditions. There are no scratches but showing different tones / shades on the aluminmum coating itself. I am suspecting it might be abrasion on the fabric when I pocket them in my jeans. Feels like it might bit problematic long term wise moving forward even if you take care of the phone.

Anyone observed this as well ?

This years phone are made of aluminum. It is much softer than the titanium. Because of this the coating on the aluminum will be affected more easily. Surfaces that have a matte finish are likely being “polished” from friction with your pants pocket.
