Hi,
I wondered if anyone has had similar issues. Since having my 17 Pro Max, I’ve noticed that WiFi performance is significantly lower than previous devices. I waited until iOS 26.1 released thinking that might solve any issues with the N1 chip’s compatibility but nothing seems to have changed.
My WiFi setup is exactly the same, with 3 Ubiquiti AP’s across the house. I can be sat in a usual position, approximately 4-5 metres away and only have 2 out of the 3 WiFi bars on. Looking more carefully, it seems this is because the phone is ‘sticking’ to a previous AP so maybe not roaming as well as previous devices.
I wondered if anyone else had this issue with their phone with the new N1 chip’s compatibility and possibly Ubiquiti gear? Interestingly, the issue seems to be specifically to the iPhone as my iPad which has the same N1 chip in it doesn’t seem to have this.
Thanks for any help.
