I just noticed after a few weeks of using it it has these perfectly evened scratchings over the top casing...even though i primarily use a wireless keyboard.

im not sure if its from anything specific...i dont wear sweaters, have any bracelets, or wipe it with wool..lol....i just had n iKlear cloth on it thats about it.

i doubt im going to complain about it to apple but i was wondering since it looks like it was ingrained into the actual aluminum perhaps its in the design or fabrication of it? i just noticed it in bright natural light but otherwise cant even tell its there.

this is the only other discrepancy with the umbp17 i have aside form the oily key wearing.

thanks

Take your watch off.

Intriguing ,,,,, considering i stated i dont wear anything while using it.

it seems to be an even flush pattern.
i was curious if it was on others machines aswell...as it seems pretty weird.

Didn't realise aluminium was scratch resistant ;)

It's not, but cat claws are too soft. They're good for shredding paper and cloth, but they're utterly useful for engraving and woodchipping. :D

i kind of similar scrapes it looks like its part of the aluminum or ours were cut from the same batch lol...not sure, however i dont see mine in most light other than in the sunlight/natural light.

oh well....i went through enough hassles to get a decent one...i think Rev A's were abit full of nuances though.

not sure
