17" unibody mbp, will it have the revised (good) 9600m gt batches?

So guys what do you think? Will the inquirer cut open the 17" unibody mbp's 9600m gt card up to check if it has the good underfill + bumps?

I know it hasnt been released yet but tomorrow is as good as any day to release the 17".

I have no clue. But honestly i dont care. I just want the 17" MBP to be updated so i can finally switch to Mac per late xmas present from my fiance.

I think it will have the 9800m, someone mentioned a rumor about it as theyve had so many problems with the 9600, and the 17" needs to be better than the 15" in more ways than screen space.

They never have felt the need to differentiate it more in the past.

And the Nvidia issue in that Inquirer story isn't what the issue actually was. The problem wasn't lead solder - that stuff has been used in zillions of chips for decades - or the underfill, it was the combination of the two.

I think they might go higher -- especially if the rumors about putting a higher end nVidia chip in the new iMac is true. We'll know soon!
