The Great White North Eh
Ok, so here is the scenario, my 17" unibody mbp (early 2009, 2.66Ghz, 4Gb Ram, 10.6.2, using 9600) is having serious issues playing nice with adobe CS4 products, inparticular indesign and illustrator. Working on a 10ish mb indesign file with 15 or so links grinds it to a haltingly slow pace (click... wait... click.. wait... repeat... runs slower than my ibook G4 1.33Ghz 512mb running illustrator CS2 with a 600mb file) and the temp ramps up into the 70's (C)... it gets worse if illustrator is open... I know I am pushing the ram a bit here, (or so istat tells me) but my old SR 17 had no issues dealing with this scenario.
I've only really found this problem in the last month-month and a half... is this a sign that something is amiss? Should I run a ram check/hardware diagnostic? or just take it into apple and recreate the issue?

Any thoughts?

(BTW the only other issue I have had is my hard drive required some fixing due to errors in boot record or some junk from a bootcamp install of xp)
