I've got a strange SD Card Problem:
If I forget to unmount a SD Card I am not able to mount any SD Card until I reboot.
The SD Card does not show up in Disk Utility anymore.
Logout doesn't help.
About this mach shows "This computer doesn't contain any Apple Internal Memory Card Readers." @ card Reader
What did not help me but helped others:
- SMC Reset
- relaunch Finder
- 'Finder' 'Preferences' - tick the box 'external disks'
Does not start working again when I shutdown Dropbox (Dropbox seems to be part of the problem with a lot of other people - when they shut down dropbox, the sd card reader suddenly started working again).
opening iphoto does not help (some reported: start iPhoto => sd card reader works again)
It is not the "Stuck on VM Ware Problem" or the "Toothpick" / "Dust" Problem as my SD Card also stops working when I unmount it in another cardreader. (Further Information on the other problems, see: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2459057?start=165&tstart=0 )
Does anyone else have this problem?
Any suggestions how to solve this problem?
