I've tried on two different networks, both on my iPad and through iTunes.

The iTunes download would have taken ~16 hours. The OTA one just times out.

The networks I'm on are getting 30 down.
Is this happening for anyone else?

The times aren't right. My iPhone 4 was right but when I went I upgrade my moms iPhone 5s it said 15 hours remaining on 2.5 down. It was much faster then that though not sure how long I do know that my phone took 1 hour to download just like it said it would and 40 minutes to install

First two times it was supposed to take an hour. Third time is saying four hours, but started out at ten. I think the servers are just getting jammed right now. Might be better to wait a day.

Ok, at least it's not just me. I assumed it was server overload but I updated my phone around 2pm ET without issue, I guess word started spreading that it was out around then though.

I just started an OTA on my iPad 3 10 minutes ago, and it went from 28 minutes to an hour... It's painfully slow.
and.........update failed.

I updated my iPhone 5 in less than 20 minutes total this afternoon!

Update.... 2nd attempt is starting out at 4 hours.
And that failed after just 2 minutes.
Not happening tonight.

i am using a program that always trying to get the max download speed from the server... It also grab sources from somewhere else... I am downloading at my max internet connection speed... 3MB/s

If you're using DNS servers other than those supplied by default by an ISP, they may be resolving to a far away/busy server.

All I know is that the update from iOS 7.0.6 to 7.1 took a long time. The update files must have been huge, because I ended up watching three episodes of the new DVD release of the well-known anime series Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water while waiting for the download and updating on my iPad Air.

only took me about 10 min to download and install on my iPad Air around 2pm pacific time don't know if that means anything

I've tried three times to update my iPhone 5s with each time failing. I am trying my iPad 3 now. Wish me luck.

I'm on slow DSL and it took me 8 minutes to download the update for my iPad 2 and about 15 minutes for my Air. I got the updates as soon as they were announced.

Went on quickly with all of my iDevices except for my last-gen iPod touch. Will not download. It says 6 hours then fails... I've tried doing a settings reset and no difference. Will try again tomorrow morning.

slowest update ever

I expected the download to be slow and have to make several attempts. But wow. I have been trying pretty consistently for over 8 hours and I am no further. I've tried direct download links, the apple developer site, torrent sites and doing it over the air. Nothing works. Bad Apple!

Still nothing

Is no one mirroring iOS 7.1 Gm? I guess not because every single link I find online give the the direct apple link. Which is still stalling out every single time I try. Anyone have a torrent for 7.1 for iPhone 5s Verizon/CDMA ? I would much appreciate it. :)

Update downloaded first shot in about 30 minutes on my iPad Air, but keeps failing on my 5s.

It's not a GM but a final release.

Perhaps it's because quite a few others are trying to download it?

Started download 5 minutes after it was out, downloaded at a speed of 1,1.5MB per second. No problems on my end.

It only took less than 5 mins to download and additional 3 mins for the phone to reboot.. So i guess its your internet connection?
