I have a 2012 15 rMBP (when they first came out).

I've noticed lately that my wifi often won't connect after I wake it from sleep (when I open lid). Every time it will search for a long time, sometimes it finds it, sometimes it says it can't find it. But when I turn off wifi and turn it on, it quickly finds the connection.

Does anyone else have this problem or know if it's a fixable issue? Or is it covered in another thread (I didn't see one).

Thanks for any help!

Mine does this (late 2013) if it's been in sleep for more than a few hours, otherwise it's fine. All I do to remedy it is turn wifi off and on again.

I think it's probably some sort of bug but for me at least it only takes 5 seconds to fix.

I'm pretty sure it's a known issue.

Seems to be getting worse with time for me. I never used to notice it. Now I have to manually reconnect to network. Sometimes need to stop and start wifi. It is annoying

Really annoyingly, mine has started doing every time I come out of sleep now.
