EDIT::: Somehow, this has cause my Mavericks installation to completely lose the admin account. My account somehow got changed to "Standard User" and there simply was no admin account. I tried some Kung-Fu but nothing worked. So I had to do a clean install of Mavericks using a bootable USB drive.
For this reason, I don't recommend using the below method unless you know what caused this problem and you know you will avoid it. Ultimately, it's best to have a clone of your setup so you can easily restore to it. I had everything backed up, but not a clone. I'll just do a TM now.

A little back story - For Yosemite, I created a second partition on my rMBP, and installed it there. Beta 4 ran great with almost no issues.
So, I decided to go ahead and put Yosemite on the main partition over Mavericks. My stuff was backed up.
It ran terribly. I never had an issue doing an upgrade Vs clean install with OS X before, but with this beta it was night and day. Some apps that worked in the clean install did not work in the upgrade (F.lux, VLC ) and Safari would crash, finder was locking up, it was totally unusable.
Ugh. So I had to go back to Mavericks. I thought my only option was a clean install, but I tried something - upon boot, I pressed Command-Option-R, it connected to Apple over the internet, and instead of giving me Yosemite as an option, it was only Mavericks.
I let it do its thing - I thought for sure it was going to be a clean install, but when it was done it wrote Mavericks over Yosemite and all my files and installed programs were still there. Fwew! That saved me some time.
So just so you know, you can revert back without wiping everything clean first.
