I just received my 6-core Mac Pro yesterday and tried fitting it in a Tenba camera case that I have and it fits great with the power cord in the front pocket.

I would think that some of the larger Canon L series lenses in that bag would be much heavier
I only use it to transport it from place to place . I was looking at the Mac Pro Go Case for $129 but I think the Tenba bag is good enough.

Canon L Glass is definitely much heavier than the Mac Pro. The big stuff anyway. I shoot mostly prime L lenses and wish I had never left the point and shoot arena. Life would be simpler and weigh less.

The Tenba padded dividers use velcro for a custom fit so I moved them to the bottom and sides to keep it snug and protect it when setting it down on a hard surface.
