Has anyone seen this: When trying to FaceTime with my iPhone 5, the rear camera continually moves from focus to out-of-focus. It's driving the folks I'm FaceTiming with absolutely mad because the picture moves from blurry to clear almost constantly. Any ideas on a solution?

When you say "rear camera", you are talking about the one on the front of the phone are you not? It has to be as the back camera will not do facetime.

Sounds like you need to visit the Apple store for them to look at it!

Of course you can FaceTime with the back camera!

Using the rear-camera is actually how I found FaceTime useful. I use FaceTime when showing people things (like my new house, my yard, diagnosing computer issues etc).
