Time to start tracking the preorders that made it before the dates started to slip.

----------

Waiting on shipping confirmations which I imagine will start this weekend.

I used the apple store app on my iPhone 5 after the website was still down. it took a little while but got in and ordered around 2:30am central. I got the order confirmation right away and went back to bed.

I was late to work this morning because I didn't want to get up. thank you coffee and Friday! Can't wait for next Friday! :apple:

Apple store app was the way to go. I kept refreshing the Apple store website every few seconds for about 30 minutes while checking the app here and there. Finally gave up on the website and focused on the app. Had order for SG 64GB iP6+ confirmed for 9/19 delivery by 2:51 AM Central time. Went back to check the website out of curiosity and it was still not working. So glad I installed the Apple store app just last night.

Att

I went through ATT and ordered mine at 2:55am est and my delivery date is 10/2-10/13

Verizon

My 64GB gold 6+ isn't going to be delivered until 10/7 but DH's 128GB gray 6 is set for 9/19.

Att

Order went through on ATT website at 12:11am PST for a 64gb 6+ Slate and shipping says 10/2 - 10/13. No bueno.

Order went through on verizon's site for 128GB 6 Plus at 2:57 EDT, confirmation email for 9/19 delivery 2:59 EDT

Apple store app was my only option. Started at 3am ET and finally got the app to work after several refreshes and delays in the checkout process. Got space gray 6plus 128gb with sprint at 3:45 am ET with a 9/19 delivery. The Sprint site and the apple store were both down so I got lucky the app actually worked.

After waking up at 3:00 am est and having no success with Verizon or the Apple Store, got into work this morning and ordered it from Apple for a store pickup on the 19th.:)

Got in from the ipad app, it was slow though and I thought I wasn't gonna able to buy one.

After a very frustrating time early this morning, I finally got through on the Apple app. But had to wait until just now to complete the order since Apple couldn't verify my eligibility with AT&T. Still got a 9/19 delivery date, so happy camper on little sleep.

I was refreshing both the Apple store site and the Apple store App... finally the app let me in at exactly 12:15am... first I got the "we're holding an iPhone for you" reservation since they were unable to contact AT&T servers....

This wasn't enough for me lol so I tried again and it went through! picked my plan and paid my dues... 9/19 delivery date. Order completed around 12:18am.

Also recieved the email to continue my checkout for the other iPhone... that also has a 9/19... now I'm thinking I can give that one away, but I'll have to check first.

Started at 3:01. Finally got in at 3:46. Problem with people who have a discount, either corporate or govt. Someone didn't link it correctly in Verizon's system. At least Verizon was better than Apple, down for almost 3 hours. Same guy ran the live stream from Cupertino.

Ranking of disasters:

1. Meteor that killed the dino's
2. Bubonic plague
3. Apple pre-order day
4. Apple live stream on announcement day

That was a shocker to me that Apple/us was down for so long especially when other countries could order through the apple store online.

I managed to get through to Apple.com after fighting with it or an hour. Tried the app and it said that all phones for all carriers were unavailable. The AT&T site told me a date of 10-14 days from the beginning so I decided to fight it out with Apple to try to get one sooner than that. In the end, I was able to order a 16gb Space Grey 6+ for AT&T and a 16gb Gold 6+ for Sprint. Both are going to be delivered on 09-19
