I have to disagree on this one. Not all tater tots are equal. Novice tater tot chefs tend to under cook them. Tater tots should be cooked until the potatoey goodness is tender, not chewy! The skin should be very crisp, and a dark golden brown. Until that point you have under cooked yukiness.
