How can i Change the GUI of Mac os x tiger?

Go to http://www.unsanity.com and download a program called ShapeShifter. It's $20 shareware with a free demo. Some of the sites they link to download themes are no longer online, but there are a lot of themes at http://www.resexcellence.com/themes/index.shtml and a few more to be found at some of the links Unsanity provides.

but also be prepared for the possibility that your system will/can become unstable after haxing the gui........

Although SHapeshifter itself is a relatively stable app, some themes out there written to use with it are NOT......

so just be sure your OS is 100% trouble free BEFORE installing any theme-changers, and be selective about the themes you download

my experience

i used shapeshifter once, it was cool for a while, but i constantly found myself running into holes in the them, a wrong color for a font or menu etc. I recommend sticking with good ole aqua standard.

Back when Shapeshifter first came out it wasn't so great, but there are two things about it now that are much better. 1: it is much more stable than it used to be. 2: Apps that get ****ed up and illegible when themed can be added to an exempt list.
