Purchased Macbook Air May 2014 with 126 gig SSD which I figured would be fine. However, I've found I'd like to run VM Windows & Win so I need a lot more storage.
I've upgraded hard drives on pc's before, but I don't know about Macs. Can this be done without leading to other problems? I figure 250 gig would be ok, or 500 gig if the price is right.

Thx

You can, but there is no third party solution yet for the latest MBA. Both OWC and Transcend Make SSDs for MBAs through the 2012 model. I have have great luck with the Transcend model, the OWC model was a piece of junk.

Your only choice, AFAIK, is eBay. There are folks from Asia selling SSDs from the nMP that will fit and work just fine in the 2013,2014 MBA.

However, as I said, I know there will be a third party solution, I just don't know how soon.
