Finder window keeps resizing after ejecting external drives

Hey all, I have an issue with Finder. I always have a fixed size for every Finder window, but ever since I've updated to Yosemite, whenever I eject something, the window is reshaped into something small and crowded. The only way to fix it is by force quitting Finder, but that's a hassle. Is there a fix for this?
