Hey everyone! I just picked up a T-Mobile 64GB 6 plus a few days ago. This is my second 6 plus and I've noticed that the battery life is pretty bad compared to my first 6 plus. Currently I have 4 hours of use, 6 hours of standby and I'm at 25% left. This is after adjusting settings to get better battery life. Now I just got the blue screen of death two times in the past hour while browsing on the internet. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do? Thanks!

I would do a total restore and update through iTunes

Okay I'll do that. Now I went to listen to my music and it keeps changing songs really fast. On shuffle it will skip a ton of songs and you can't go back to skipped songs. Totally weird.

Try the restore and update to 8.1 and it might solve all the glitches you are having. Are you on 8.1? Because 8 and 8.01 had some problems. Good luck!

I'm in the process of restoring right now. I literally bought the phone on Tuesday and updated it to 8.1 OTA. I thought the battery issues were due to it being new and not calibrated, but then all these other issues popped up. I really hope this fixes it! Thanks again!

I'm experiencing decent battery life with 8.0.2, which is what my 128 6 brought out of the box. Im doing OTA update to 8.1 and hopefully that fixes all my problems

With that threat title I thought I'd accidentally landed in the Microsoft Surface Pro forum...

I just did a DFU restore and will see if things get better. I totally drained the battery so maybe it will calibrate last longer now. I'm pretty upset about this because I had the 6 plus and thought it was too big so I got a 6 but was displeased with the battery life so I went back to the 6 plus. This is making me rethink my decision.

Yeah no kidding. This shouldn't be happening with a brand new phone.

Okay so today I have been monitoring my phone and my moms 6 has better battery life than mine. I only have notifications on from a few apps and did all the battery life optimization tricks I've read. Same exact settings as the 6 plus I had a few weeks ago.

Here are my usage statistics and crash log:

was your mom's phone used the same exact way?

Can't really compare unless you did and based on your numbers, assuming you use it the same way till it dies, you're gonna get roughly 10 hrs of use, which ain't that bad....

Her usage is a bit different so I can see why there would be a difference. Hers is mostly Facebook and Safari.

Like this. This is from my i6

I must not have it because I restored my phone only 22 hours ago.

I charged it up last night and unplugged it at about 1AM. My usage screen is still not switching to the layout like yours. I only have one screen showing my use over 24 hours. I also realized that I did not do a DFU restore, I only put it in recovery mode then restored. Do you think that is okay? I've only gotten one BSOD since I restored it Friday night.

Well guys I can't complain anymore about battery life. I have to say this is pretty damn good! Also, I haven't gotten the BSOD lately either! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1415072460.856123.jpg

I ended up taking my phone into the Genius Bar. I didn't get anymore BSOD's but had about 50 errors for ram. Their diagnostic showed my phone crashed 14 times in the past week. I got a new phone so hopefully my issues don't happen with this device.
