I Purchased "Trim Enabler" made by Cindori Software. Here is a link to the site if you need more info on it: http://www.cindori.org/software/trimenabler/
Here is also info on the SSD I am using in my MacBook Pro: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/SSD7P6G480/
I have a few questions about this... First being I used GeekBench 3 Pro to run 2 tests before installing this app. then I ran another 2 after I installed Trim Enabler and enabled it. Both tests after were slower...? Enabling Trim actually dropped the overall benchmarks be around 20... It should of got faster right?
To anyone who has this app, I noticed that when I open the app and exit out of the screen for Trim enabler the app closes. shouldn't it stay open so that its enabling Trim for my SSD? When opened the icon shows up in my bottom task bar with the dot under showing its open does it need to be open and stay minimized or does it work when the app is not open??
I know the app is working b/c before i installed it when i looked next to "Trim Support:" in system info/system report under "SATA/SATA Express". It said "No" ...now it says "Yes".
