Need help on removing the adware

Whenever I open google on google chrome, there's always a box of advertisement asking for me to download the program. Also, when I click on some websites, the new ads window will appear. Is there a way to remove these kind of bugging things off my macbook? Thanks in advance

+1 OP sounds like you have some adware that snuck on there and the tool Mr_Brightside linked will remove it.
