I'm using iExplorer to grab a couple of files from my iPhone and noticed that in "Media\DCIM\100APPLE\" there are many photos and videos that are not only deleted, but also deleted from my "Recently Deleted" album.

Two questions I guess:

1. Why are they still there?
2. Will it all go t1ts up if I delete them to save space?

Well these are for sure coming from some backup from before.....but which one, you have to figure it out....

Well, I deleted them and no harm done, just space recovered.
Just to clarify, these are photos and videos taken in the past few months that haven't been synch'd to iCloud or copied to iMessages or WhatsApp etc.
Nor have they been shared using iCloud.

They are generally photos that were taken in error and deleted almost immediately.
But they are still on the phone...
