Accessibility: Hearing Aid Functionality - future OS X update??

Does anyone know if, in the pipeline perhaps, that Apple will integrate its bluetooth hearing aid functionality in OS X, like iOS in Accessibility?

Given how great the current iOS works with bluetooth hearing aids, I'm a little baffled why Apple couldn't or didn't include it in Yosemite, for example?

Anyone know or have any thoughts about this?

I have plenty to share (and a few things to ask) about Bluetooth hearing aids and OS X, but it's off-topic from Yosemite and off-topic from El Capitan.
