Is the blue leather loop really that bright or is it just because of the flash?

in between it was bright and dark also, depends on lighting. in apple store it was already shiny and that flash proably made more brighter. but its mild not too bright and not too dull

Thanks for the pics. What's your wrist size?

160. some change. so 160mm

What is your wrist size?

Based on the pictures alone I'd say the 38 looks much better.

The 42 mm looks large in pics. Everyone says the pics lie so I guess they do. But the 38 mm looks ideal to me. I don't know what to make of it all.

for ladies i say 38mm but for guys that 42mm is way to go and 42mm was just perfect for me.

I tried them both on.

In pictures the 38mm looks just right on my 155mm wrist, but looks tiny when I look at it.

The 42mm looks huge in pictures, but feels and looks just right in person.

I just ordered a 42mm. Delivers in June.
My 38mm is coming in May 13-27 (so much for getting up at 3AM. :().

If you've ever seen a 6th gen Nano with the Lunatik Lynk band- it's about the same size. The Lynk band is about 28-29mm wide.

A little big, but not too much. My wrist width is 65mm if that helps.

The shape of the apple watch will actually be sleeker.

I think that is really what matters. How it looks/feels to YOU.

Contrary to what fat and ugly people have been saying for centuries, pictures don't lie!!

the blue looks really good in both pictures.... the black looks too big (i know i know.... same size!) and i don't care for how the milanese loop has that big space on that loop on one side.

AND as far as the pics go..... next to the black sport the white does look better....

so all that means is we are seeing more and more examples of pictures being messed up perspective when we see them!

I was thinking the same thing. Hairy arms are kinda gross. We need some manscaping up in this forum!

im thinking maybe you need to check your self in front of a mirror dude. whether you are a man or WOMAN.

real man have hair and arnt afraid to show it, while on the other hand woman ... i mean come on lol theres that difference

It's all about grooming. We have hair on our heads too, in our pubic region, hair growing in our noses, ears etc. Since we have hair in those areas does that mean we should let it grow untamed?

If you're not trimming your body hair and you have body hair then you should be, and yes I am a MAN, all man!

doesnt look like it, who afraid by arm hairs:rolleyes:

All of these comments of 38 vs 42 for X size wrist started making me crazy, so I went into the Apple Store on my way to work and was the 2nd person to try on some watches. I ordered a 38 white sport at midnight.

I tried on a 38 white sport, 42 space gray sport, and 38 stainless steel.

I measured my wrist and it is ~160mm.

The 42 just straight up felt too big for me. I have a few big watches and like them but this was a bit too large as a squarish rectangle. The 38 felt better to me. Maybe if it was 39-40 it would be perfect, but I'm glad I picked the 38.

I really liked the 38 SS but not sure I liked it for 200 dollars more. I'm kind of expecting to get the next iteration in a few years so I might go for SS then after I decide I really like using the watch as part of my daily life.

I really recommend that you guys go in for an appointment. I didn't schedule online, just walked in, and they fit me in at opening.

Here's a picture of the blue leather band from my try on. I really loved that band! Sorry for more arm hair. I am a manly man #
