For those who can get away with the 16GB like me. Staples currently has it for $100 off. I seen this the other day picking up a box. Oddly the online site says $459 pick up in store. I called because I was SURE I seen $399 and I doubled checked it wasn't the first gen the other day but was in a rush. He checked the display and said that is the Air "1". Not sure how he could miss the HUGE banner that says $100 off iPad Air 2 LMAO always pays to go in store lol. This is the cheapest I seen atm. The Air 1 starts at 399 in most stores.

Sorry about the pics I uploaded from my 6 plus. Click for full resolution.

Staples, I got them to price match the online $459 price, then used the $100 off coupon.

The best deal is the 64 GB for $439, but I didn't need the storage.

Very crafty! I didn't even think of that. I just figured the $100 off in store was a better deal since it was $459 online!;)

I was able to snag the 64gb iPad Air 2 for $439. I've been wanting to upgrade my 16gb iPad 3 and I felt the price was good to so.

The difference in everyday tasks is worth the upgrade - and I'm glad I can store all my photos/portfolio without worrying about running out of space!

FWIW, this original picture there says "iPad air 2" at the top, but below it says "Excludes iPad air 2 64gb" haha! the picture has two different statements on it.

Wish the $100 off coupon wasn't "in store" only. None of the Staples within a couple of hours have any size in store, all online order. bummer!

I tried to get my local Staples to honor the $459 and the $100 coupon. No go.
Oh well. Might try another location. Thanks for the tip.

I just picked up my 16gb 2 for $423 (including taxes). They wouldn't acknowledge a price match and a coupon... but doesn't hurt to try.

Got one!

Got it! Went further in town to a busier store. Brought the coupon, a printout of Staple's online price and they honored both. $387, but then I don't have to pay sales tax because of my LLC, so $359 for 16gb wifi. Best deal I have received on anything in a long time.

Thanks for starting this thread.

Downtown Chicago store wouldn't honor the price on the website, and manager was a bit rude about it. Explained even though the terms were clear on the Staples website he wasn't going to sell it for that price and seemed irritated that I expected him to sell it for advertised price.

Went to another location, friendly, no issues and got it for $359 plus tax.

Rochester, Minnesota, store wouldn't let you "double-dip" either. Almost got it but the manager caught it last second and basically said that the online is a different store making it either coupon or price match. Traded in iPad 3 for $70 plus the coupon so good discount but disappointed by the ambiguousity of the Staples policy.
