Apple Watch Band Upgraded

I was able to follow the directions posted on YouTube by Unbox Therapy to switch out my Classic Buckle leather band to a nice 22mm solid link stainless steel band. Apple asks $449 for theirs. I picked up this one from Amazon along with the screwdriver for only $80. Turned out pretty good I think!

Very nice. I am actually impressed by this. I think I will do the same although I wouldn't mind exploring more stainless bands as I already have a Tissot with a similar style.

Really? That band looks like hell compared to the Apple link band. Why would you want to make your $700 Apple watch look like a POS Pebble Steel.

In order for this to work you need to start with the Apple watch with leather band but can I now buy the leather band and use this method?

I saw that same band and wanted to do the same thing but was worried it wouldn't look good on the leather band adapter rods. I really don't think in my opinion that it looks good. Not to mention a 42 mm SS with Classic is $700 plus $80 for the setup you have is $780 vs $1,000 for the Apple Link. Not enough savings to warrant it when it doesn't look that good to me. But I'm glad someone else did it as I would have wanted to and I don't think it does.

It is from china, but it looks good and is a whole lot cheaper than Apples band.
