My 4GB iPod mini is dead, luckily it's still under warranty. It started by locking up iTunes when transferring music. After 1 or 2 songs everything would just freeze. I reformatted, and after a lot of attempts, finnally got my music back on. I went to turn it on however and basically the apple logo comes up and you hear the hard drive clicking repetitively. Tried resetting, no go. Followed apples instructions in what to do in this case: put it into disk mode manually. All that would happen is the sad iPod face would come up.

I don't know if this is good news or not?? I'm going to the apple store this weekend hopefully. Any advice on how to deal with the geniuses?
