So what's your favorite OS X feature. Is it something you use everyday? For me it's the (don't laugh!) "check spelling as you type" thing that you can use ANYwhere in Safari, Adium, etc (cocoa apps??). Simple, small, but it makes all the difference in the world!

Well I prefer the look of the spinning beach ball to a blue screen...

After spending more time then normal in Windows for the last couple of weeks (Oblivion has a hold on me ;)) I can say without a doubt my favorite feature is:

Spring Loaded Folders!

I do not understand how anyone can work without them.

Or am I missing something in Windows to make them work?

Exposé, I don't know how I ever did without it.

I remember back before Exposé I was jealous of Windows users because they had the taskbar to manage their windows. Jealous of Windows users... Haha what a thing of the past!

The main thing I LOVE about mac os x is the fast loading, windows seems to take a half day to load up, I power my mac on and it loads within 30 seconds to windows 3 minutes. I also love how it applies wallpapers to your desktop right when you click on it and it does it right away (quickly) as windows you have to apply the settings and if you don't like the wallpaper you have to load the folder back up again.

I also love the dock, browser spell check, uninstall (drag, drop) and LETS NOT FORGET Front Row! I also like that Windows can be loaded on a mac computer , allowing myself to stick with mac hardware from now on and also getting the gaming end of windows. I think this is a HUGE plus for apple as now they should do better in sales. I myself am new to mac computers as of Feb 2006 and I would have made this switch along time ago if I knew macs were this great and easy. I think peoples biggest fear of leaving windows is that they are use to it and everything supports it. Allowing windows on mac opens peoples eyes now on installing windows and mac on one stylish unit.

This is TOOOOOO much to list on my mac that I love it for and I'll never leave it :)

The Hat Trick

Exposé / Spotlight / Spring Loaded Folders

The combination of those three features makes working in OS X so beautiful. Couldn't do it without them.

EDIT: Also being able to output to PDF from ANY App is a major timesaver, just not as much as the others I mentioned. But I've listed four now, and since the OP asked for one I'm done. I'm already 3 over the legal limit. :D

The seamless integration of the built in dictionary.

Being able to Command+Ctrl+D over any word and getting it's definition is dreamy.
