Beatles lose Apple court battle

I wonder how much money Apple Corp. could've made if they'd just allowed for The Beatle's music to be available on iTunes rather than having a whinge. Apple Corp are basically invisible to me (do they have any other clients?) they should have just followed the industry lead.

Does anyone know - if Apple had lost - how much money [roughly!] would Apple Corps have received? Hundreds of millions?

Perfect timing for new product releases if they are forthcoming. Hopefully the media can put a good spin on Apple Computers' win and not paint a portrait of them as the big corporate ogre with all the money and power. Trust me, they could do it in a heartbeat if it suited them.

On a related note, I just saw another report on CNN that said that Warner music now has 14 counts against it for conspiracy to fix online music pricing.

The best part about this is that the beatles will have to pay Apple's legal bills. I want that system in the US. Hopefully, it will stop ppl & their BS lawsuits in search of settlement money. I don't hear of british citizens suing each other for tens of millions b/c some neighbor's front door is the wrong shade of blue.

In the UK, just how successful are appeals? In the US it can be a mixed bag, in particular if they "shop" for a sympathetic court.
