I apologize for taking your time and space on a question whose answer will almost certainly help ONLY me....:
I have a front panel board (S& T)
(c) 1993, 94. The only #s I can find which seem relevant are: 820-0542-A.
It has a 26 pin flat cable connector at the back end; it has what looks like a remote control sensor on the front end, left; a tiny switch next to that marked (on the board) VOL UP; another next to it marked VOL DOWN; an led next marked DS1; and a 1/8 in. stereo jack next to that, on the right front corner. The 20 connection chip in the center of the board has the Motorola insignia on it, with: 341S0178 above: CKLDR9704.

HERE'S MY QUESTION:
What are the specific values/purposes of the pins which the flat cable connects to? I'd like to use this on a small audio amplifier with otherwise inconveniently placed volume control and headphone jack. I know, I know I'm half stupid and half crazy.... ' Story of my life.
It's just a project I'm playin' with.

Thank you for your support.
