Hi all,

I'm buying RAM from crucial and wondering whether I should upgrade from 1gb to 2gb for roughly $50 or 4gb for roughly $100. Is the latter a no brainer given the price or will i not notice the difference?

I typically have safari, mail, itunes, ical, omnifocus and adium open at all times. I basically do no video editing or photoshop work. I rarely play games but like it not to stutter when I do.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I'd get the 4 GB.

RAM is so much cheaper in the US.

Yeah that seems to be the trend (I'm in Canada). I actually live in the UK and am going back in August so don't think I'm taking this stuff for granted!

Thanks for your vote btw

Well, what kind of computer do you have? Because some of the older ones have a 2 or 3 GB limit on RAM.
