debating on weather or not to get an 3g iphone friday...

main hold up on getting it is this:

will all rate plans (3g or 1 gen) all change over to the ones being posted?

i.e. if i keep my 1st gen iphone will i need to start paying for texting when i wasnt before?

from everything that i've read, the 1st gen iphone rate plan will stay the same ($20 a month for 200 txt, unlimited data, visual voicemail).

the only phone moving to the new pricing is the 3G.

I'm in the same situation as you... I'm probably going to stick with my first gen for now simply because i can't justify paying $15 more per month...

The new prices match the ATT prices for all 3G phones.

man i am having a hard to time convincing myself to get the 3g iphone

i have this plan right now:
1 iphone, 2 reg phones
family talk 850 min-59.99
iphone data+1500-30
2extra lines -20
texting for extra line-15
total-$125

new plan with 3g iphones
2 3g iphones, 1 reg phone
700 min-129.99
extra iphone line 39.99? or does the 129.99 include 2 iphone lines?
extra line-10
texting-30 (for all 3 lines?)
or $199

am i reading this right?
