i'm just about to buy a 1ghz 12" powerbook g4 for about £180

is it a good bargin 10.4.11 and ilife 08 inc

i think it's worth

anybody else ???

will be first mac by the way

Yeah, that's a decent price. I sold mine for £260 back in March. They're lovely little solid machines!

Seems like a good price, although it would help to know how much RAM it has, and whether it's a Superdrive or combo drive.

In any event, remember that it's a 4-5 year old computer and will perform like one. It'll work for basic stuff (and the 12" form factor is great).

Good price but factor in the price of a new battery and possibly a new adaptor. These are the only two things that I've replaced on my powerbook - the adapter was really my fault for mistreating it though.
