Are people with 1st Gen iPhones and 2.0 having to turn off location services for battery life like the 3g owners are?

GPS is the issue for location services on the iPhone 3G. The 1st Generation iPhone uses cell phone triangulation which uses much less power than GPS on the iPhone 3G...

Kind of annoying really. I wish you could disable GPS while leaving Triangulation on. The nice thing about my 1st gen is I could leave everything on and their was no excessive battery consumption but with the 3G I have to babysit certain features, primarily GPS.
