I am sure this has been discussed on here, but I have searched and have had no luck finding it (so please be kind).

I am currently with Verizon but I really want an Iphone. In and miles around my area, there is no 3G service. I also have a GPS system in my car. As you can see I have no need for the iPhone3G. I want to know, if I were to buy a 1st Gen iPhone, what would the price of the plan be? Would I pay the current plan price or would I have to pay the new plan price?

I think the new pricing plan would apply.

The old pricing plans were discontinued along with the original iPhone, about 2 months ago now.

I could be wrong ...

EDIT: Ok, I was.

1st gen iPhones are considered "standard" phones, not PDA phones, so you will still just pay the "standard" phone price.

Awesome. Thanks for the quick reply. I knew that I had seen it earlier, but could not find it. Now my big problem is finding a 1st Gen iPhone for cheap.
